Connecting Grounds is a social innovative start-up fighting the unsustainable management of spent coffee grounds, by upcycling its properties into food ingredients and future end-products for B2B companies.

They collect spent coffee grounds from their suppliers, then treat them to sell the final ingredient back to the suppliers for their end-product, completing the circular loop.
When this is not possible, they sell the ingredient to other companies that want to add dietary fiber, protein and caffeine to their end-products and/or any company whose products already contain coffee and they want to replace it with a more sustainable source, by adding value to their branding and storytelling.
