Cascara is a residual product currently seen as trash in the coffee industry – but it is much more!
It is full of vitamins and antioxidants with naturally high caffeine content. Flora Ferment is fermenting the cascara and bioactive kale into a healthy cola consisting high content of lactic acid bacteria and micronutrients, which are good for digestion.
By making use of cascara we give the coffee farmers an extra source of income.
