Join us for our third community event on agroforestry.
Coffee originates from the forest. Agroforestry is therefore a great – and circular – approach to coffee farming. We know that agroforestry systems have multiple benefits for coffee farmers and plants. Still, most farmers continue to grow coffee under full sun and heavy agrochemical use.
But what are the benefits for coffee, climate and the people and why is agroforestry still not applied more widely? – Aske Skovmand Bosselmann from Copenhagen University explains at this online event.
And what about the farmers? How do they work with agroforestry? Rachal Ange and Richard Baguma from Kawacom share their experiences from the farmers’ perspectives in Uganda.
Join us for this event and let’s learn about the benefits, barriers, and how to implement agroforestry in practice.
The event is quite interactive with plenty of opportunities to enter in conversations and learn about other businesses. Therefore, it is a great opportunity to spread the word about your circularity work and learn what others are doing.
